About this application service
The parent route allows a parent to remain in the UK to look after a British or settled child. It carries a sole-responsibility test and specific evidence demands. Our advisers assess your eligibility and build a robust case.
Who it's for
Parents of a child who is a British citizen or has settled status in the UK, who want leave to remain to care for them — including parents who have been refused before and need a properly prepared fresh or further application.
What's involved
An eligibility and sole-responsibility assessment, preparation of the evidence bundle and supporting statement, and planning for extensions and long-term settlement.
The sole-responsibility test
The Home Office looks at whether you are the parent with sole responsibility for the child's upbringing, or whether the child would not be adequately cared for without you. We help evidence this clearly.
What the £350 fee includes
- Eligibility and sole-responsibility assessment
- Evidence bundle and statement preparation
- Extension and long-term settlement planning
